Jackets and Coats

All of our jackets and coats are lined with crepe back satin and sewn with 100% nylon thread. The satin is heavy, has a nice feel and stands the test of time. Nylon thread will hold up under the toughest wear and does not deteriorate when exposed to the chemicals used in leather tanning. All seams are top sewn for strength as well as appearance. All zippers are heavy duty YKK brand.

Sport coats are fully lined, with 2 exterior pockets and one inside left breast pocket. This jacket is best made out of a soft and supple skin (elephant ear, deer, elk, eland, etc.) It is available in 2 styles regular and the Western cut which has a decorative yoke on the front and back.

Baseball jackets are fully lined with 2 exterior pockets. They are equipped with a knit band at the neck, sleeve and bottom. The sleeves are a raglan style for easier break in. A heavier hide works with this style.

The biker style jackets are really nice in elephant. These jackets have 2 outer pockets and one interior pocket. We offer 2 styles, the racer which has a small mandarin collar and front straight up and down zipper. The classic is just that, Brando, James Dean and Elvis wore this cut with an angled zipper across the chest. Epaulets, belt and watch pocket complete the look.

Long coats and dusters are fully lined with 2 outside pockets. The dusters cape can have a finished edge or the uneven contours of the skins edge. The hems at the bottom and sleeves can also be the skin edge for that rustic style.

Ladies coats and jackets all have 2 outer pockets, crepe back satin linings and buttons that are picked out just for your garment. We feel that the buttons should compliment what they are on. Color, texture and thickness of leathers predicate the choice.

All the prices are for sewn and top stitched seams. Hand braiding and lacing can make your garment very unique looking. If you are into the bone and horn beads, these are also available.

Semi-precious gemstones can be set into garments with leather lace. The possibilities are endless for your one of a kind garment.
